The Resiliency Program is the culmination of my pr

The Resiliency Program is the culmination of my professional life’s work. There is a program for health professionals who want to apply this information with their clients (and themselves) and a general public program for those interested in building resilience. The latter just leaves out some of the science and focuses on application.

I hope to launch in mid-June and I will be delivering this live for the first time round.

They’ll be plenty of opportunities for Q&A and I envision some in person events as part of this program.

Why am I so excited about a program on resilience?

Partly because that’s primarily what we’re always doing when working with a client. But it allows to explore so much through a specific lens (see some of the topics we’ll cover below).

Let’s move away from the idea there’s one root cause to your health issues and move towards an understanding that health is determined by our life long exposure and interaction to the world around us. Not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. And thus we need to consider how we *relate* to our experience, and what meaning we attribute to our experiences.

Let’s also move away from the notion of the individual being solely responsible for their health, and appreciate individuals are sick because society and the Mother Earth are sick. If we are to build resilience in ourselves it requires reconnecting with our fundamental needs.

Topics will include family resilience, microbiome resilience, immune resilience, resilience to environmental toxins, the research on breathwork and psychedelics and psychological resilience, ecotherapy, psychoneuroimmunology, journalling and mindfulness, and so much more.
